The Bible Had Interesting Thoughts About Water
Water is one of the most essential elements on our planet, and its ability to change state is a remarkable phenomenon. The water cycle, or hydrologic cycle, is a well-known process that has fascinated scientists and poets alike.

Interestingly, the Bible also mentions this cycle, emphasizing the importance of water in sustaining life. Ecclesiastes 1:7 states, “All streams flow into the sea, yet the sea is never full. To the place the streams come from, there they return again.”
The Ark Was Ready To Go
Many people (when they read about Noah and his ark story in the Bible) are a bit skeptical about whether the vessel would have worked, considering the equipment available back then. Yet, it seems like the mathematics involved was accurate.

The Stars In The Sky Are Innumerable
We all know that there are a whole lot of stars in the sky, but the Bible is right when it says that the stars are countless; we cannot give a definitive figure on them.

So far, it’s estimated that there are about 1 trillion stars in one galaxy. Now, imagine the number of stars in the over 100 billion galaxies in the universe.
The Stars Are Not Equal
If you thought all stars were the same as the star closest to earth (the sun), you could be mistaken. The Bible mentions it in Corinthians 15:41; “The sun has one kind of splendor, the moon another and the stars another; and star differs from star in splendor.”

This means each star varies in magnitude, light, and other aspects. Talk about diversity!
Celestial Bodies Aren’t Immortal
Since they are in the universe, you’d think that heavenly bodies are majorly immortal; they keep floating away to eternity. Yet, scientific research shows that stars and other astronomical elements wither and fade away; they don’t last forever.

The Bible also confirms this fact in Matthew 24:35 which reads: “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.”
The Universe Constitutes Invincible Elements
We can all agree that there is a lot in the universe that our human minds have not discovered yet. We do know, though, that the universe is made of particles invincible to the human eye.

The Bible refers to that fact in Hebrews 11:3: “By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.”
David Was An Outright Winner
The story of David defeating Goliath might be considered a stretch, but it could have happened. 1 Samuel 17 gives us the happenings, and this is why it might be true; the stones found in Elah Valley are made of very heavy barium sulfate, and despite using a slingshot, the stone would’ve hurt Goliath.

Considering that Goliath was a giant, he could’ve been suffering from acromegaly (overproduction of growth hormone), which came with vision problems. Chances are, Goliath’s vision was impaired, giving David the upper hand.
Mountains Exist Under the Ocean
When scientists discovered mountains in the ocean, most Christians and Bible scholars were in the know. According to Psalms 104:6, the Bible documented the existence of these magnificent features underwater.

These mountains have been dubbed seamounts and are as elegant as they sound. Some of these seamounts are taller than most (if not all) of their land counterparts.
The Sun Stood Still
A story in the Bible mentions a weird occurrence where the sun stopped moving. This happened in the book of Joshua 10:12 when the Israelites were at war. To ensure their victory, Joshua commanded the sun to stand still.

Creatures Need Blood To Survive

Sanitizing Is A Key Part Of Cleanliness
The Bible has always had a soft spot for sanitizing and hygiene. In most cases, entering holy places required you to clean yourself before setting foot inside. The Bible had strict guidelines on the same – which can be found in Leviticus.

An excerpt from Leviticus 11:28 is a prime example where anyone handling carcasses and corpses was expected to clean up. Additionally, there was a duration of time they’d be considered unclean.
Isolation Is A Big Part Of Containment
The pandemic is a good example of what isolation does and why it is necessary. This practice has been active for centuries and can be traced to Biblical times when skin diseases like leprosy were common.

The Bible indicated that a patient with leprosy was to be quarantined and isolated for at least seven days or until improvement. Who knew that medical science was a thing then?
